Inses, Seksualitas, dan Teologi: Menuju Teologi Tubuh Menurut Perspektif Teologi Feminis Lintas Agama di Indonesia
Incest as a form of sexual violence against women occurs because of the existence of power relations between men and women in the family. Such relations are perpetuated by theology which places women as objects of men's power. Incest is one of the primary forms of sexual violence against women and girls. The increase number of reported cases of incest in the past five years in Indonesia requires a holistic approach, which includes the response religious institutions and communities.
This thesis argues that a feminist religious theology of the body is urgently needed to speak for the voiceless children (women) victims of incest. Using the narrative of a child survivors of incest in conversations on religion, body, and sexuality; a Christian feminist theology of the body of Lisa Isherwood, and an imaginative conversation based on the biblical narrative of incest, this study offers further argues of the importance of a feminist interreligious approach in rethingking women's body and sexuality as a relevant way to respond to the challenge of and to voices of women and girls survivors of incest.
